Photographer Carl Richards captured these images of A35-003 taking off on its first flight, from Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, on December 1. The aircraft is due to be delivered to Luke Air Force Base, Arizona in early 2018 to be used for pilot and maintainer training, before being permanently relocated to Australia in 2020. A35-003, known to its manufacturer Lockheed Martin as AU-3, had its RAAF markings, including its 3 Squadron tail flashes, applied in early November, the final phase of the aircraft’s production process. 3 Squadron is due to become the first RAAF F-35 operational unit. CAMTO - Indonesia is interested in buying armored personnel carriers BTR-82A, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the manufacturer of these machines - the Military Industrial Company (MIC).
Earlier in some media there was information referring to the Minister of Defense of Indonesia Rjamizard Ryachudu, according to which Jakarta plans to acquire order from Russia 50 armored vehicles for its marines, the agency said.
"The Indonesian side is interested in buying armored personnel carriers, now negotiations are under way. We are talking about a new BTR-82A model, "said the representative of the military-industrial complex at the International Defense and Security Exhibition and Conference, Defense & Security-2017.
Defense exhibition Defense & Security-2017 takes place from November 6 to 9 in Bangkok.
